Brief biography:
David Pfeiffer is the Director of Undergraduate Research at University of Idaho. Pfeiffer joined the University of Idaho in January 2014 as a professor in biological sciences. Prior to this he was on the faculty of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Alaska Anchorage for 13 years. From 2011 to 2013 he served as the director of the Office of Undergraduate Research & Scholarship, which supported undergraduate involvement in research and creative activities across all academic units, including branch campuses. He currently serves as the PI of an NSF-funded REU Site at the University of Idaho.
